Description: SORRY NOW SOLD

Here we have a match spare Chelsea home Carling Cup Final shirt, issued to Andriy Shevchenko for the 2007 Final in Cardiff against Arsenal. The first part of a victorious domestic cup final double of the 06/07 season, the League Cup and here we have a shirt from this first final, which comes directly to us from a football contact, made that bit more special by the fact that Sheva has signed the shirt front and back!!!

The long sleeved- Sheva wore short sleeves- shirt carries all the old style FA Premier League Official Lextra name and numbers plus the unique Carling Cup Final sleeve badges and is manufactured using Adidas Formotion technology, exclusively for players shirts and very different to replica's of the same design. It still carries the Formotion branding on the front bottom left of the shirt, and is made game specific not only by the sleeve badges but also by the game detail embroidery around the Chelsea Club Crest, plus of course all the other differences you would find on a genuine players shirt.

There are various auction sites littered with "manufactured/constructed" Chelsea away Adidas shirts, but because Adidas haven't dumped the blank player spec home shirts onto the general market, these sellers can not provide genuine Chelsea Adidas home shirts, especially a Cup Final shirt. Just ask them! ask the seller the right questions, because remember provenance is everything!

Matchworn shirts FAQ

Are the shirts genuine?
All the shirts you see in this section are OFFICIAL shirts. They have either been worn or issued to the player. We have a broad and comprehensive list of contacts in the footballing world. This enables us to provide you with guaranteed genuine shirts.

What's the difference between Match worn and Match issued?
Match worn shirts have actually been worn in a game by the player in question. In most instances we will be able to tell you in which game, or which part of the season (some shirts are worn several times). Match issued shirts have been issued to the player by the club's kit man, but subsequently have not been worn and have come direct to us.
