Description: Here is another great players shirt which will soon come up for auction on our ebay. The goal hero of Southend United, Freddie Eastwood's match worn shirt from last years successful promotion season.

Freddie kindly donated this shirt to us, and signed it, straight after he wore it in the Southend United v Swindon Town Football League One game at Roots Hall on 27th January 2006. It remains unwashed with Freddie's signature to the number two on the back of the shirt. It has all the specifications that confirm it as a players shirt, and these will be listed on the COA.

It has the best provenance and picture proof of Freddie handing over the shirt and this will be added to its forthcoming listing on our Ebay.
Remember all the proceeds from the sale of this and all our other shirts listed in the Charity Players Shirts section go to support the 2006 "Ground Hop Challenge" and help raise awareness of Male Cancers.

As the Ground Hop nears its finish this month, 21st January at the Emirates Stadium to be exact, most of the remaining shirts will be auctioned on our ebay. 120 grounds in 13 months!! but please don't confuse our other shirts with our charity shirts. Rest assured all the proceeds from the sale of these items goes to CHECKEMLADS supporting these guys in spreading the word. If you see a shirt that catches your eye before it goes on our ebay auctions CONTACT us to express interest or make a sensible offer. But remember the money is going to support a great cause, so please give generously.

Matchworn shirts FAQ

Are the shirts genuine?
All the shirts you see in this section are OFFICIAL shirts. They have either been worn or issued to the player. We have a broad and comprehensive list of contacts in the footballing world. This enables us to provide you with guaranteed genuine shirts.

What's the difference between Match worn and Match issued?
Match worn shirts have actually been worn in a game by the player in question. In most instances we will be able to tell you in which game, or which part of the season (some shirts are worn several times). Match issued shirts have been issued to the player by the club's kit man, but subsequently have not been worn and have come direct to us.
